Truncate KV Store Collections

When you truncate a collection, you remove all the documents from the collection but leave the indexes in place.

Truncate All Key-Value Pairs​

  1. Log in to your Macrometa account.
  2. Click Data > Collections.
  3. Click the collection that you want to truncate.
  4. Click Settings.
  5. In the Settings tab, click Truncate Collection.
  6. Click Truncate.

Truncate a Specific Group​

If you selected Group at collection creation, then you can truncate only documents in a particular group. This deletes all documents in the group and leaves everything else, including other documents and indexes, intact.

  1. Log in to your Macrometa account.
  2. Click Data > Collections.
  3. Click the collection that you want to truncate.
  4. Click Settings.
  5. In the Settings tab, click Truncate Collection.
  6. Click Add Group ID.
  7. In the Group ID field, enter the group that you want to truncate.
  8. Click Truncate.
